Candle Care
Trim wick to ¼ inch prior to every use; this will reduce black smoke and soot. If burning for an extended period of time, snuff candle out and trim the wick back down to ¼ inch every 3-4 hours; then re-light. Use a Snuffer or Wick Dipper to put out flame. This will keep your candle jar from having black soot around the rim of the jar. Proper wick care will keep your candle burning longer and your favorite fragrance fresher.
Candle Safety
Never leave a candle burning unattended or while sleeping. Do not burn candle near flammable household items and surfaces. Do not allow children to handle matches or lighters. Do not allow children to have lit candles in their bedrooms or playrooms without adult supervision. Do not touch hot wax. In case of wax spill; allow it to cool, then remove from surface.
